Service Overview

Landscape Lighting tailored to your property

A well-lit landscape doubles the hours you can enjoy your property — and doubles the curb appeal after dark. We design and install low-voltage LED lighting that draws the eye where you want it: up into the canopy of your mature hardwoods, along paver walkways and steps, across stone retaining walls, and around patios and outdoor living spaces.

Every system we install starts with a design, not a box-store kit. We use solid brass and copper fixtures with warm 2700–3000K LED lamps, sized transformers with room to grow, and photocell-plus-timer controls that turn the system on at dusk and off on schedule. Because everything runs at 12 volts, it's safe around kids, pets, and planting beds.

What we do

A snapshot of the work we commonly take on under this service. Your scope is built from what your property actually needs — pick and choose, or let us recommend.

  • Custom low-voltage LED lighting design
  • Brass and copper fixtures built to last
  • Tree and architectural uplighting
  • Path, step, and patio lighting
  • Smart transformers with photocell and timer
  • Safe 12-volt systems — safe around kids and pets

Who it's for

Homeowners who entertain outdoors

Patios, fire pits, and kitchens become usable well past sunset with layered lighting — task light where you need it, ambience where you don't.

Homes with beautiful trees & stonework

Uplighting on hardwoods, stone walls, and facades is the single biggest after-dark transformation most properties can get.

Safety & security minded buyers

Lit walkways, steps, and driveways prevent trips and falls — and a lit property is a far less attractive target than a dark one.

How we scope your project

Every property is different, so every quote is too. Here's the general path we take from first call to finished work — adjusted to fit the size, complexity, and goals of your specific project.

  1. 1. Evening design walk-through

We walk the property at dusk so you can see fixture positions demonstrated live — then adjust the design with you before anything is buried or wired.

  2. 2. Transformer & layout planning

We size the transformer with headroom for future fixtures, plan wire runs to avoid beds and hardscape, and mark every fixture location.

  3. 3. Clean installation

Wire is buried, fixtures set on proper mounts, and lamps aimed and shielded — no glare into windows or neighbors' yards. Most installs take one to two days.

  4. 4. Night aiming & walkthrough

We return after dark to fine-aim every fixture, set your on/off schedule, and walk the system with you before final payment.

Frequently asked questions

How much does landscape lighting cost in Charlotte?+

Most residential systems run $2,500–$6,500 depending on fixture count, wire runs, and access. A modest front-yard package can come in lower; whole-property designs with extensive uplighting run higher. We give a flat written quote after the design walk-through.

Will the lights bother my neighbors or shine in windows?+

No — that's a design failure we design against. We use shielded fixtures and careful aiming so light lands on your landscape, not in windows or across property lines.

How long do landscape lighting systems last?+

Brass and copper fixtures routinely last 15+ years; LED lamps 30,000–50,000 hours. We service any system we install, and we can repair or convert most existing systems regardless of who installed them.

Can lighting be added to an existing landscape or patio?+

Yes — most of our work is retrofit. Wire runs tuck into beds and along hardscape, so installation rarely disturbs established plantings or patios.

See your property in a whole new light.
