Sprinkler System Installation in Charlotte, NC

New sprinkler systems designed and installed for Charlotte lawns and landscapes.

Service Overview

Irrigation Installation tailored to your property

A new irrigation system is only as good as the design behind it. We measure your static and dynamic water pressure at the meter, map sun and shade zones, account for slope and soil type, and lay out head-to-head coverage so every square foot of your lawn gets the water it needs — without overspray onto driveways, sidewalks, or the side of the house.

We install new sprinkler systems for residential and commercial properties across Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, Ballantyne, Waxhaw, Fort Mill, and Tega Cay. Every install includes a smart Wi-Fi controller (Rachio or Hunter Hydrawise), a code-compliant backflow preventer, and the municipal permit and certification.

Who it's for

Homeowners with new sod or landscaping

Just invested in a new lawn or beds? An irrigation system protects that investment through Charlotte's brutal July and August. We coordinate trenching with our landscape crews so install order is clean.

Properties with manual watering fatigue

Tired of dragging hoses, moving sprinklers, and still ending up with brown spots? A properly designed system covers everything automatically — and a smart controller cuts your water bill at the same time.

New construction in Lake Norman & Fort Mill

Builder typically doesn't include irrigation. We install full systems on new-construction lots before sod goes down so the lawn establishes properly from day one.

How we scope your project

Every property is different, so every quote is too. Here's the general path we take from first call to finished work — adjusted to fit the size, complexity, and goals of your specific project.

  1. 1. Site evaluation & pressure test

We test water pressure at the meter, measure the property, and identify sun, shade, slope, and bed zones that need separate watering.

  2. 2. Zone design & written quote

You get a zone-by-zone plan showing head types, spacing, and run times — designed for head-to-head coverage with no dry corners or wasted overspray.

  3. 3. Trenching, install & permit

We call NC811, pull the permit, trench cleanly, install pipe, heads, valves, backflow preventer, and controller, then pressure-test every zone before backfilling.

  4. 4. Programming & training

We program seasonal schedules, set up the smartphone app, walk you through controls, and leave a printed reference. Backflow certified and submitted.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a new sprinkler system cost in Charlotte?+

Most residential systems run $3,500–$7,500 depending on lot size, number of zones, and water source. We provide flat written quotes after measuring the property — no hourly surprises or change-order games.

How long does an install take?+

Most residential installs are completed in 1–3 days depending on lot size and zone count. We trench, install, test, and program in one continuous schedule to minimize disruption.

Do I need a permit?+

Yes — Mecklenburg County and most surrounding municipalities require a permit and a certified backflow preventer with annual testing. We handle the permit, install, and initial certification as part of the job.

Will the system work with my well?+

Yes — we design well-fed systems with appropriate pressure tank, pump, and zone sizing so you don't burn out the pump. Common across rural Lake Norman and Waxhaw properties.

Set it. Forget it. Watch your lawn thrive.

Free on-site evaluation — we'll measure pressure, design your zones, and provide a flat written quote on a smart-controller-equipped system.
