Weddington backyards have the space for a real outdoor living area, not just a slab off the back door. As hardscape contractors in Weddington, we design and build paver patios with defined zones — dining, seating around a fire feature, a grill or outdoor kitchen run — sized to the lot instead of squeezed against the house.
The build quality lives underground. We excavate out of the clay, compact the aggregate base in lifts, set the pavers on screeded bedding sand, and lock the field with proper edge restraint and polymeric joint sand.
What's included in Weddington
- Paver patios, extensions, and full outdoor living builds
- Walkways, steps, and stoop rebuilds
- Fire pits, fireplaces, and seat walls
- Outdoor kitchens and pergola pads
- Pool decks and coping
- Drainage and grading built into the patio design
Local conditions
On wooded Weddington lots we plan for tree roots and shade before laying pavers — a patio set over major surface roots will heave, and heavy shade means moss unless the surface drains and gets some airflow.

Hardscape Contractors & Paver Patios in Weddington — common questions
How much does patio installation cost in Weddington, NC?
The main drivers are square footage, paver selection, excavation and grading needs, and add-ons like fire features, walls, steps, or lighting. We walk the site and hand back an itemized written quote.
How long does a paver patio take to build?
Most Weddington residential patios take about one to two weeks from excavation to final joint sand, depending on size, weather, and whether walls or a fire feature are included.
Will the pavers settle or shift over time?
Not when the base is right. Failures come from a too-shallow or poorly compacted base and missing edge restraint. Base depth is the part we never shortcut.
